HOTEL ESPADILLA

Hotel Playa Espadilla is located just across the road from Cabinas Espadilla. The Hotel features amenities like a swimming pool, wet bar, restaurant, pool table, private biological reserve, parking lot, pool hydro-massage and some have kitchenette and refrigerator. The reserve is one of the regions great scenic beauties with very attractive aspects of the tropical forest with its diversity of flora and fauna, especially mammals and birds.

F rom the Hotel Playa Espadilla and in the Manuel Antonio park there are several trails through the forest offering sightings of white-faced monkeys, spider monkeys, sloth's and birds of many colours. The beach is one of the few places in Costa Rica where unspoiled forest grows right to the beach. Visitors can relax on an elegant beach among the orchids and watch the parrots fly over as the monkeys hop from tree to tree.

T he Playa Espadilla Hotel has many amenities to offer: First it is located within a short walk from the National Park of Manuel Antonio and the beach front. Situated in a nice two story building with rooms over looking a private biological reserve which belongs to the hotel. There is a Tennis Court, Private parking lot, Pool Side bar and restaurant, serving tropical as well as international cuisine and there are several trails through the forest offering sightings of capuchin monkeys, and other flora and fauna.

W atch your kids have fun in the pool, while you are finishing your breakfast. There is a long breakfast menu for any possible taste, from pancakes to the typical Costa Rican morning fair of rice with beans (gallo pinto) with fried eggs, bacon etc. as well as fruit-plates with fresh tropical fruit. We have tried it all and never were disappointed. We never ate there at lunch or dinner, but I am sure that equally delicious food is being served.
