You may decide to take an excursion to Cahuita National Park to further observe this unique biodiversity or glide over the coral reefs in a glass bottom boat. Your dreams of galloping on deserted white sand beaches can be fulfilled. Other activities of the area near Shawandha Lodge include river or sea kayaking, visiting a butterfly farm, iguana farm, botanical gardens, bird watching or visiting the local Indian reservations of the Bri Bri natives, or end your days with a relaxing massage in the privacy of your bungalow.

Enjoy the finest in French Cuisine. Begin with listening to the many tropical sounds, sitting in a comfortable sofa, watching the hummingbirds sipping on the red flowers while enjoying your favourite drink underneath the spectacular "rancho". Followed by the dinner prepared by the chef, enjoying creative tropical flavours with the savoir-faire of the French tradition.
